Pets Unlimited provides annual examinations and vaccinations to the companion animals of PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support) clients, a volunteer-based organization that provides for the comprehensive needs of companion animals for low-income seniors and people with HIV/AIDS and other disabling illnesses. We have given over 2,000 free examinations and countless vaccinations since we began our partnership.
Pets Unlimited also provides emergency veterinary care to the companion animals of VetSOS (Veterinary Street Outreach Services) clients, a mobile project that provides free veterinary services to the companion animals of homeless San Franciscans. We have provided over $160,000 in charitable emergency care to clients in need since we began our partnership.
In addition to our partnerships with PAWS and VetSOS, Pets Unlimited provides charitable and discounted veterinary care to other animal welfare organizations such as SFACC (San Francisco Animal Care and Control), the retired police dogs from the SFPD K-9 unit, and local rescue groups.
