A. Pets Unlimited is a 24-hour Veterinary Center where a portion of every dollar you spend on the care of your pets helps support our charitable veterinary care programs and our Shelter and Adoption Center. Our state-of-the-art Veterinary Center saves the lives of our clients’ pets, while generating critical funding to allow the cats and dogs living in our shelter to be placed in healthy and loving homes.
But Pets Unlimited cannot rely on any one source of income. Those who remember Pets Unlimited through a bequest in their estate plan provide us with additional revenue that allows us to maintain our life-saving programs despite downturns in the economy or emergency expenses. Our work is not possible without community support and bequests from clients and donors like you who care about saving the lives of pets in need.
A. We would be honored to enroll you in the Legacy Circle, so please let us know of your bequest by calling Leah Prassinos, at (415) 568-3052 or lprassinos@petsunlimited.org.
A. Yes, we can provide you with estimates of the tax and income benefits you will receive if you take out a charitable gift annuity, or create a charitable remainder trust. We need to know the birth dates of those who will receive income from these charitable tools and the kind of gift you have in mind (cash, or real estate). These calculations are for educational purposes only and should be reviewed by qualified independent advisers of your choosing. For calculations confidentially provided, contact Leah Prassinos at (415) 568-3052 or at lprassinos@petsunlimited.org.
