Piglet, 21 years young

We received a touching update on one of our shelter alumni, Piglet. After reading his moving story, we couldn’t imagine a better fairytail ending for him:

To all the people at Pets Unlimited we have met there over the years, we wish to still thank you for Piglet.

Piglet was one of the toughest, most loving Toy Chihuahuas I have ever met. He did not go easy even in passing, but in the end his love lives on in our hearts. I will never forget the day I met Piglet, he had knee surgery and had a cast on and and was acting so tough. I went in and sat down. He came over, climbed in my lap, flipped and started kicking me until I rubbed his belly. The look was total love and we knew he picked us as his owners that day. That is the power of love and all pet owners know that. In his passing, I shed tears as it feels a little emptier here without our Piglet.

To all at Pets Unlimited – thanks for the lifetime we had with Piglet.
