Dr. Lisa Kim never strayed too far from California! She went south to receive her undergraduate degree from UCLA, then returned to San Francisco to work as a veterinary technician at Pets Unlimited.

Dr. Kim went on to earn her veterinary degree from UC Davis. Upon graduating, she spent the next 3 years working at a mixed animal practice in Santa Cruz before rejoining the Pets Unlimited team. Professionally, she has a strong interest in surgery.

She lives in San Francisco and shares 3 cats (Lisle, Bea and Nacho) and 3 dogs (Zoe, Piglet, and Potato) with her husband and two daughters. She spends her free time playing competitive women’s Ultimate Frisbee and dabbling in sewing and design.
