Handsome, snuggly, and smart as a whip! Meet Phantom – a ~4 month-old German Shepherd mix puppy from Oakland Animal Services. Found wandering alone with an untreated leg fracture, Phantom was transferred to Pets Unlimited in need of medical care. Now that he’s had some healing time, Phantom is ready and waiting to find his new home and hopes it will include a bit more TLC until his fracture is fully mended, then onto puppy classes and park outings! This romping big boy puppy will likely be an energetic adolescent, so a home that’s teens-and-up is ideal. Already the toast of the town, meet our friend, the fabulous Phantom, today!

Our beloved lady Flora is a 2 year-old Maltese / Poodle mix who was found severely matted with multiple pelvis and leg fractures on the streets of Oakland. When it became clear that she needed special surgery to heal, she came to Pets Unlimited seeking medical treatment and adoption opportunities. Now with a new ‘do and well on her way to healing, Flora is looking for a mostly mellow forever-home that will give her tons of well-deserved TLC, appreciate her fabulous doggie social skills, and love a dog that is so well-rounded she could go home with gentle older kids, another easygoing dog, or even a cat. Handsome, sweet, and a goofball – meet Elijah, a one year-old boy who came to Pets Unlimited by way of SF/ACC for a stomach surgery. We would love to tell you this little guy’s breed (Dachshund, Lundehund, Shiba mix?) however Elijah appears to be one of a kind! Quite the youthful charmer, Elijah is a social butterfly with dogs and people and would love a new home with a romping canine friend for company. Elijah hopes his near-future will also include park time and doggie school in a puppy-lovin’ household while he’s finessing those adolescent manners. If you are on the look-out for a best friend, look no further than Elijah!
