Shelter and Adoption Center
Every year, thousands of pets
end up in shelters where they have very little chance of actually being adopted.
They end up being euthanized or sold for medical research. Pets Unlimited
responds to this outrage by making weekly rescue trips to shelters in the Bay
Area and surrounding counties to save these pets from a hopeless future.
The mission at the Pets
Unlimited critical needs shelter is to find and rescue as many injured and neglected
pets as possible, provide quality medical treatment and find them loving homes
no matter how long it takes. Some of our dog and cat residents have been
with us more than a year before finding a permanent home!
The Shelter is located
on the upper level of the Pets Unlimited facility on the southwest corner of
Fillmore and Washington Street in San Francisco's Pacific Heights district.
